Together with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH) at the University of Toronto, Red Gate International helped organize a private dinner event in Shanghai with international health experts, supporting DLSPH’s mission to create and spread a global “pandemic of health” through innovation and change the conversation around how we define public health.
Dr. Howard Hu, Dean of DLSPH, and Rani Kotha, a senior strategist in global health at the Munk School of Global Affairs at the University of Toronto, led a roundtable discussion on issues of critical importance in the field of global health. Along with an esteemed international group of health, environment and education leaders, the experts discussed chronic diseases, areas for China-Canada, academic and industry collaboration, and avenues for creating and spreading an international pandemic of health.
In helping to organize the dinner, Red Gate’s services included participant invitations and arrangements, venue selection and setup, on-site coordination and photography.
The event took place at VUE Private Dining, Hyatt on the Bund in Shanghai on December 16.
Red Gate Catches the Global Health Bug
Red Gate has long played a supporting role to the University of Toronto and the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, providing multimedia products that promote the school and its leadership in advancing global health initiatives, research, scholarship and training.
Most recently, Red Gate created a powerful 8-minute promotional video shown at the opening of the school’s Global Health Equity and Innovation Summit, a major health conference held earlier this year at the University of Toronto. The video showcased DLSPH’s place at the forefront of global health research, highlighting its distinguished history and contemporary role at the head of an irresistible movement of positive change in the field of global public health.
Red Gate produced a second video for the school that features exclusive interviews from international health experts and captures highlights from the summit. With compelling insights into DLSPH’s integral work at the intersection of health, equity and innovation, the video showcased the summit as a transformative moment in global health thinking.
